Behind the camera
In 2017 and 2018 I worked as art director, screenwriter and set photographer on four short films shot in Ankara, Kastamonu, Ordu and Çankırı. Eski (The Old) competed in the National Short Film Competition of the 29th Ankara Film Festival.

The Old
Ferit, a young carpenter's apprentice, has recently lost his parents. He wants to build a hut on the family field, the dream his parents never realised. Everything is planned; all that's left is to act. But the unexpected is on its way.
Kalmakla Çevrili
Surrounded by Survival
Fikret drives for his village and also handles its woodwork. With no one left, nothing remains for him but his faith. What happens to him will make his loneliness sharper and the tightness inside him heavier.

The Loop
Sinan, a young prosecutor, finds himself in a tangled investigation. Taken off the case for his unconventional behaviour, he falls into a deep void. An unexpected event will let him down even further, and the void will deepen.

A young man was having a terrifying night. He had been abducted by two unknown women, and there was someone else in his home. It was time to make things right.
